What is a carbon peel?

The carbon peel, also called the Hollywood Peel or China Doll Peel, is a gentle laser treatment in which a fine carbon layer is applied to the skin and activated with laser light. We use the Nd:YAG laser to vaporise the carbon powder together with dead skin cells, excess sebum and bacteria.

What does the treatment involve?

The session takes 20 to 30 minutes. A thin layer of carbon powder is applied, after which the Nd:YAG laser vaporises the carbon. You feel a light tingling, warm sensation and there is no downtime.

Which skin concerns?

The carbon peel is ideal for enlarged pores, excess sebum production, acne-prone skin, early pigmentation spots or a dull complexion. One session already delivers a result; for a lasting effect we advise 2 to 3 sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.
