What is the CO2 fractional laser?
The CO2 fractional laser is the most powerful fractional laser and the gold standard for deep skin renewal. It vaporises deep columns of skin tissue (up to 2 mm) and generates heat in the surrounding dermis, which triggers intensive repair with massive collagen production.
What does the treatment involve?
The session takes 45 to 60 minutes. A numbing cream works in for 45 minutes; for larger areas a local anaesthetic can be considered. Downtime is 7 to 14 days; the result is long-lasting and varies from person to person.
Who is it for?
For patients with deep wrinkles, severe acne scars or pronounced skin laxity who accept 7 to 14 days of downtime in exchange for the most powerful result. Suitable for lighter skin types; for darker skin we advise the Picoplus or needling.
