What is a fractional laser treatment?
The fractional laser creates thousands of tiny micro-columns in the skin and treats only 15 to 25% of the surface per session, so the surrounding skin speeds up recovery. We have two variants: the erbium (gentler, shorter recovery time) and the CO2 (more powerful, deeper renewal).
What does the treatment involve?
The session takes 30 to 45 minutes. A numbing cream works in for 30 to 45 minutes. Afterwards the skin feels warm and tight, comparable to sunburn. Usually 2 to 4 sessions, 6 to 8 weeks apart.
Which skin concerns?
The fractional laser is effective for acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, enlarged pores and uneven texture. Your doctor selects the variant and intensity that suit your skin.
