What exactly is microneedling?

In needling, also called microneedling, a device with fine needles creates thousands of micro-channels in the skin. These controlled micro-injuries activate natural repair: the skin produces new collagen and elastin itself. We set the needle depth per area, from 0.5 mm for delicate zones to 2.5 mm for deep acne scars.

What does the treatment involve?

The session takes 30 to 45 minutes and starts with thorough cleansing. The device then moves systematically over the area while we deliver active ingredients into the channels, such as growth factors (PRP/PRF), hyaluronic acid or vitamin cocktails.

Which skin concerns?

Microneedling is effective for acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, pigment spots and stretch marks. Right after the treatment the skin is red and warm; this redness lasts 1 to 3 days, while the real result builds over 4 to 12 weeks.

Is microneedling painful?

Beforehand we apply a numbing cream that works in for 20 to 30 minutes. Most patients feel a tingling, vibrating sensation, but no real pain.

Can microneedling be done around the eyes?

Yes, microneedling is particularly effective around the eyes for fine lines and crow's feet. There we use a shorter needle depth and an adjusted speed.

What is the difference with Infini?

With microneedling we create micro-channels that activate repair. Infini combines needling with radiofrequency, so the heat penetrates deeper and collagen stimulation is more intense.

When will I see a result?

The first freshness is noticeable quickly; the real result builds over 4 to 12 weeks as the skin produces new collagen.

Can microneedling be combined with PRP or other active ingredients?

Yes. During microneedling we often deliver active ingredients such as growth factors (PRP/PRF), hyaluronic acid or vitamin cocktails, to reinforce the effect.

Is microneedling suitable for all skin types?
