What is the Picoplus laser?
The Picoplus is an advanced picosecond laser that stimulates the skin with ultrafast pulses without damaging the surface. We use it for skin rejuvenation, pigment correction and texture improvement; the laser activates the repair mechanism deep in the skin.
What does the treatment involve?
The session takes 20 to 30 minutes. You feel a light prickling or tingling sensation, less uncomfortable than with traditional lasers. For skin rejuvenation and pigment correction we usually advise 2 to 3 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart; we tailor the exact number to your skin.
Suitable for the eye area and darker skin
The Picoplus is suitable for the sensitive eye area and, unlike many other lasers, also for darker skin types, provided the parameters are set correctly.
