What is PRP/PRF and how does it work?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) use your own blood plasma to stimulate skin renewal. A small amount of blood is drawn and centrifuged to isolate the plasma. This plasma is rich in growth factors and cytokines that activate collagen production. It is a 100% natural treatment without synthetic substances.
PRF is the next generation of PRP. No anticoagulant is added, so a natural fibrin structure forms that releases the growth factors more slowly and for longer.
What does the treatment involve?
In three steps: a small tube of blood (8 to 15 ml) is drawn and centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma, and the concentrated plasma is delivered into the skin through fine needles, optionally combined with microneedling for deeper penetration.
We treat the area under the eyes (bags and dark circles), the cheeks and cheekbones, the forehead and temples, the neck and the décolleté, among others. Usually 3 sessions 4 weeks apart, with a maintenance treatment every 6 months. Beyond the face, we also use PRP for hair growth.
