About this treatment
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a biostimulator based on poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible substance used in medicine for decades. Injected into the deeper skin layers, it activates the fibroblasts, the cells that produce new collagen.
What does the treatment involve?
The doctor injects Sculptra through several small injection points into the deeper skin layers. The session takes 10 to 20 minutes. Aftercare rests on the 5-5-5 rule: massage the treated area 5 times a day, for 5 minutes, over 5 days.
When will I see results?
Usually 2 to 3 sessions are needed, 6 weeks apart. The real result, the collagen build-up, becomes visible gradually over 3 to 6 months and lasts up to 2 years.
Sculptra is part of our injectables range.
