About this treatment

What is the Plus peel?

The Plus peel extends the Basic peel with two extra steps: manual penetration of the active ingredients and a session of LED light therapy. LED speeds up repair and reinforces the action of the active serums.

How does the treatment work?

The session takes 60 minutes and runs in four steps: a multi-step cleanse, the peel with its acid combination, manual penetration of the serums and LED light therapy.

What does LED add?

Red light at 630 nm stimulates the mitochondria, which speeds up cell renewal and collagen production. Blue light at 415 nm kills acne bacteria.

How many sessions are needed?

Carpe Clinic advises 4 to 6 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart.

What is the difference between the Basic peel and the Plus peel?

The Plus adds two steps: manual penetration of the active ingredients and LED light therapy. The session takes 60 minutes, against 45 for the Basic.

Is LED light therapy painful?

No. LED is completely painless. You only feel a gentle warmth.

Is the Plus peel suitable for acne?

Yes. Blue light kills acne bacteria and calms the skin after the peel.

How quickly will I see a result?

After the first session the skin already looks fresher and brighter. After 3 to 4 sessions the improvement in texture is clearly visible.

Is there downtime after the Plus peel?

Mild redness for 1 to 3 days. LED speeds up the recovery.
