What is a Renophase peel?
A Renophase peel is an effective treatment to refresh the skin intermediately and provide general anti-aging effect. This peel uses different acids that are custom combined to ensure that the skin becomes permeable. Using this peel, we can address pigment, improve texture and provide an overall refresher.
The different types of Renophase peels
Each Renophase peel is tailored to the patient’s specific needs during treatment. However, the general procedure remains largely the same and includes the following variants:
- Renophase Basic: The Renophase Basic treatment focuses on overall skin rejuvenation and improvement. This treatment uses a combination of different acids to improve and refresh skin texture.
- Pink Peel: The Pink Peel is a specific peeling variant designed to address certain skin concerns, such as pigmentation and uneven skin tone and uses carefully selected acids to reduce pigmentation and even out skin tone.
- Renophase Plus: The Renophase Plus treatment uses LED therapy in addition to acids to stimulate and rejuvenate the skin.
- Glow Facial: The Glow Facial is a more comprehensive treatment aimed at achieving radiant skin and overall improvement. In addition to acids, this treatment includes needling (microneedling) and the use of a mask for additional skin rejuvenation and hydration.
Preparing for treatment
Prior to peeling, a thorough cleansing of the skin is performed. During a preliminary consultation or after a skin analysis, the ingredients needed for the treatment are determined. Then the ingredients are applied in steps, with the number of steps depending on the patient’s needs. At the end of treatment, a soothing agent, such as LED therapy or a soothing mask, can often be used instead of acids. It is important to note that it is recommended that patients do not cleanse their faces until the next day after treatment, and makeup is not recommended on the day of treatment.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments required varies depending on the patient’s specific needs. Different types of acids can be used to address specific problems, such as pigmentation, improving skin texture, or general skin rejuvenation. Although the order and method of Renophase treatments are often the same, each treatment can be customized and expanded with additional steps such as needling, LED therapy, masks, and more. It can also vary from session to session for the same patient.
How quickly does the skin recover after a Renophase peel?
Recovery time after treatment depends on the intensity of the treatment. The more intense the treatment and the more components used, the longer it may take for the skin to return to normal. For example, redness may occur after treatment, but this will gradually diminish.
