In late January, we were guests at the IMCAS, the world congress of aesthetics in Paris. Like every year, the headlining event was the place to be for surgeons, dermatologists and physicians. We attended a number of highly regarded symposiums on the latest developments on laser and injectables treatments, but skin care, the impact of pollution on the skin and the benefits of antioxidants were also discussed in detail.
We delved extensively into the latest trends in injectables during the conference days. Rhinoplasty with fillers and how we can serve our male patients even better were the focus here. The focus for injectables in men lies in 2023 on making the rounder face more angular to accentuate masculinity. In addition, we saw three notable, promising trends for the coming year: muscle stimulation technology, anti-pollution and wire elevator.
However, there is generally a difference in the types of treatments men choose.
